NuviCor MEWING Quick Start Guide

DEVICE PURPOSE

The NuviCor MEWING device together with the phone (tablet) application is designed to train facial muscles, and primarily to perform exercises called Mewing.

The main purpose of MEWING exercises is to eliminate the “double chin”.

DEVICE OPERATION PRINCIPLE

In order to effectively exercise your muscles, they must be strained hard. When performing face fitness exercises and tensing your facial muscles, you have no objective information about how much you are tensing your muscles. Therefore, as experience shows, the muscles are tensed weakly. And this is the main reason why Mewing and face fitness exercises turn out to be ineffective.

The NuviCor MEWING device uses a special sensor to measure your muscle tension and displays it on your phone screen. As a result, you can now tense your muscles with the right amount of force because you control the amount of muscle tension.

The NuviCor MEWING App offers three types of exercises to restore the full range of muscle function and customizes the difficulty of the task. The app stores all your progress and displays it graphically.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Strictly observe the polarity when inserting the batteries into the NuviCor MEWING device housing . Do not use defective batteries, batteries with external signs of leakage (leaks on the walls) or external defects;

Store the NuviCor MEWING in a moisture-free environment and at a temperature not exceeding 90°F.

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

The NuviCor MEWING kit (Fig. 1) includes the NuviCor MEWING electronic module (1), two AAA batteries (2), a container with electrode gel, disinfectant wipes for skin treatment, a universal smartphone stand and a brief instruction manual (in the container -3).

To work with the NuviCor MEWING device, you need a smartphone or tablet with Android or iOS (Apple) operating system.

OPERATING THE DEVICE AND THE APP

Preparing for the first training session.

1. Insert two batteries into the NuviCor MEWING device case;

2. Launch the NuviCor MEWING program on your smartphone by clicking on the program shortcut. The start window will open (Fig. 2). Wait until the message “Device is connected” appears. The device indicator should be blinking;

3. In the application, press the “START” button. An information window will open first. Click the “VIEW” button and read the text carefully;

4. Lubricate the skin in the hyoid area with a drop of electrode gel;

5. Hold the NuviCor MEWING device in your hand and press the device against your hyoid area as shown in Figure 3 so that both metal contacts are pressed against your skin. Observe the red bar on the application screen. At rest, the height of the bar should be minimized.

Without opening your mouth, press your tongue against your palate. (Attention, not to the teeth, but to the palate!). At the same time, the red column will rise up. The stronger the muscle tension, the higher the column rises (Fig. 4). If the column rises when the muscles of the tongue are tensed and goes down completely when relaxed, you can start training exercises;

6. Press the “START TRAINING” button, a window will appear explaining the muscle testing procedure. Testing always precedes training.

Click the “START TEST” button and perform the test (Fig. 5). Voice commands will assist you. Save the result;

7. Read the description of Exercise 1. Press the “START EXERCISE 1” button. Perform exercise #1, which will be repeated several times (Fig. 6). Follow the voice commands. Save the result;

8. Read the description of Exercise No. 2. Press the “START EXERCISE 2” button. Perform exercise #2, which will be repeated several times (Fig. 7). Follow the voice commands. Save the result;

9. Read the description of Exercise 3. Press the “START EXERCISE 3” button. The movie will start playing. In order to watch the movie, it is necessary to maintain muscle tension at all times, otherwise the movie screen will turn off (Fig. 8). The exercise consists of several cycles. Save the result.

10. At the end of exercise #3, a picture will appear showing your results obtained during the exercises (Fig. 9).

Close the window by pressing the “CLOSE” button.

After that the session is considered to be finished and your results are saved in the application memory.

11. After pressing the “RESULTS” button, a window will open, where your progress for the entire time of training is graphically displayed (Fig. 10).

12. Familiarize yourself with the procedure for selecting multimedia stimuli (movies and slides) in the description - Figure 11. They are especially

important for Exercise #3.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES OF THE NUVICOR MEWING DEVICE

We recommend using the NuviCor MEWING device and app for more than just the Mewing procedure.

You can train with equal effectiveness:

- the zygomatic muscles, the weakness of which provokes the formation of the nasolabial fold and contributes to the lowering of the soft tissues of the face;
